Pre-Engagement Spiritual Counseling Questionnaire

Before stepping into engagement, it is crucial to seek God’s wisdom and direction to ensure your relationship is built on a solid spiritual foundation (Proverbs 3:5-6). This counseling process is designed to help you prayerfully discern whether marriage is God’s will for your union and to equip you with biblical principles for a Christ-centered commitment.

This form serves as a spiritual reflection of your relationship, allowing me to understand your strengths, challenges, and the areas where biblical guidance is needed before you take this significant step. Honest and complete responses are essential, as they provide insight for Spirit-led counsel and accountability. As Luke 14:28 reminds us, "For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it?" This is your opportunity to prayerfully count the cost and seek God's direction before engagement.

To ensure prayerful preparation and effective guidance, this form must be completed at least 48 hours before your first scheduled counseling session. Your commitment to this process reflects your faith, readiness, and desire to honor God in your relationship.
